Completed the doctoral program in Japanese Language Education at the Graduate School of Japanese Applied Linguistics, Waseda University. Ph.D. in Japanese Language Education. Has held positions as a part-time lecturer at Aoyama Gakuin University and Sophia University, and as an assistant professor at the Japanese Language Education, University of Tokyo, before assuming the current position. Specializes in Japanese pronunciation education, phonology acquisition, and Japanese phonetics. Has published the book "Japanese Pronunciation Practice through Shadowing" and has made significant contributions to the field of pronunciation instruction for Japanese learners.
