In today's world, email has become the primary means of communication in the workplace, and there is an increasing need to convey information through written documents such as various materials and reports. What skills are required for document creation? 

In this lecture, we will explore the advanced skills for creating business documents in Japanese, based on the achievements in Japanese language research. We will also examine the expression of written communication to effectively convey the intended message to the reader.

Professor at the National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics,The Graduate University for Advanced Studies (SOKENDAI), Professor of Collaborative Research at Hitotsubashi University. Graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Hitotsubashi University. Completed the doctoral program at the Graduate School of Letters, Arts and Sciences, Waseda University. Ph.D. in Literature. Served as a full-time lecturer, associate professor, and professor at the Center for International Students (now the Center for Global Education and Exchange), Hitotsubashi University before assuming the position of professor in 2013. Professor at the National Institute of Japanese Language and Linguistics and Professor of Collaborative Research at Hitotsubashi University since 2015. President of the Planning and Operation Committee of the Society for Japanese Linguistics, President of the Society for Technical Japanese Education. Received the 7th Association for Japanese Language Education Encouragement Award in 2009. Research fields include essay theory, reading research, and composition research. Based on the latest research, he has published numerous specialized books and teaching materials on business documents, writing, reading, and thesis/report writing.
