Graduated from Natural Sciences First Cluster of Colleges of Tsukuba University. Completed the doctoral program at the Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tsukuba. Holds a Ph.D. in Engineering. After teaching at Nihon University Junior College and the Department of Environmental and Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Toyo University, currently holds a present academic position.
Since his doctoral studies, he has been conducting research under the theme of the "science on form." His areas of specialization include applications of non-Euclidean geometry, polyhedral geometry, and the mathematics of origami.
