Mr.Jaeho Lee

Completed the Doctoral program at the Graduate School of Human and Environmental Studies, Kyoto University. Holds a Ph.D. in Human and Environmental Studies.
Specializes in quantitative linguistics, corpus linguistics, Japanese language education, applied linguistics, and cognitive linguistics.
Previously served as a researcher at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology and the Japan Foundation, as well as an associate professor at the University of Tsukuba. Has held current position since 2016.
Former director of the Mathematical Linguistic Society of Japan, councilor of the Association for Japanese Language Education, and overseas director of the Korean Association of Japanese Education. Received the Encouragement Award from the Association for Japanese Language Education in 2014.
Has made groundbreaking proposals on Japanese language education utilizing AI and ICT, with works such as “生成AIと日本語教育” (Generative AI and Japanese Language Education) and ”ICTを活用した日本語教育の展望” ( Prospects for Japanese Language Education Using ICT).
