Graduated from the Department of English Literature, Faculty of Humanities, Sophia University. Completed the Master's Program in the School of English (Medieval English Literature) at the University of Leeds and the Master's Program in the Department of English (TESOL) at San Francisco State University. Completed all coursework for the doctoral program in Language and Information Sciences at the raduate School of Arts and Sciences, University of Tokyo, but left before obtaining the degree. Holds a master's degree in Medieval English Literature and TESOL. After serving as a English teacher at Toho Gakuen High School of music and as a full-time lecturer and associate professor in the Faculty of Economics at Toyo University, currently holds the present position. Specializes in English grammar and English education.
