Graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Osaka University of Foreign Studies. Completed the master's and doctoral programs at the Graduate School of Foreign Languages, Kobe City University of Foreign Studies. Ph.D. in Literature. Served as an associate professor at the Department of Literature, Kagoshima Prefectural Junior College, before assuming the position of associate professor and then professor at the Faculty of Literature, Kobe Women's University in 2011. Has written numerous books, including "Functions of Japanese Determiners," "Japanese Noun Studies: Past, Present, and Future," and "Grammar of Noun Classes," as well as many articles, teaching materials, and research papers on Japanese synonyms and grammar. Has made many important contributions to Japanese language education.
