Graduated from the Department of Japanese Literature, Faculty of Humanities, Gunma Prefectural Women's University. Completed the Master's Program in Education at Gunma University (Master of Education). Completed all coursework for the doctoral program in the Graduate School of Literature at Toyo University but left before obtaining the degree. Specializes in Kenji Miyazawa and Enryo Inoue. After moving from the Faculty of International Regional Studies to the Faculty of Life Design at Toyo University, currently belongs to the Department of Child Support in the Faculty of Social Welfare and Design at Toyo University. Has been in charge of international students for over 30 years, including part-time lecturing. Currently teaches a course on "Japanese Affairs II" for international students at the Hakusan Campus.
